Nicole Rosser is a marine tourism professional with a career spanning multiple fields within the tourism industry and business. She has been instrumental in building ZigZag Whitsundays, a crewed day charter vessel, into a successful and highly respected business since its inception in 2017.
ZigZag Whitsundays is the regional leader for sustainable practices as measured by EarthCheck. It is also at the forefront of passenger education and engagement with reef restoration projects, such as Boats4Corals, and monitoring through the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority’s ‘Eye on the Reef’ program.
Nicole holds a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology from James Cook University and is currently undertaking a Master of Environmental Management through University of Queensland, so can provide a unique perspective on bridging the gap between research, business, and the practical application of reef interventions.
